Alright! Now is a pattern for a granny square that you can use to go around your center piece. You will see that after several rounds, the square instructions split into our “Celtic Lace Joiners” and our “Flat Braid Joiners.” Remember, either way, you are joining these squares onto the blanket perimeter with Flat Braid Join.

Miss Joyce Herrmann (catch her on IG) should be a guest host for this CAL, hehe! Once the Victorian Lattice Square really took off, Joyce was there, ready to dedicate an entire month to the pattern. Special Stitches (American terms)
DC Cluster: In the same stitch, work 2 DC stitches up to the final step, leaving behind a loop each time. YO and draw yarn through all 3 loops on hook.
TR Cluster: In the same stitch, work 3 TR stitches up to the final step, leaving behind a loop each time. YO and draw yarn through all 4 loops on hook.
